Eileen T. Murphy was born on October 15, 1942, the daughter of Michael and Catherine A. Mullen Murphy. She married Thomas Ianachione.

Eileen T. Ianachione of Peters Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of the Brookline and Beechview neighbohoods of Pittsburgh, passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 81.

She is survived by her children, Susan "Sue" (Rick) Sbuscio, Thomas (Amy) Ianachione, and Tracilyn (Shawn) Tornblom; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jack) Puskar, Julie (David Jr.) Bandi, Kara (Terry) McDougall, Catherine (Daniel) Nath, Emily (Andrew) Cubbison, Margaret (John) McCloskey, Claire Ianachione, Samantha (John) Sabol, and Molly (Jeff) Zulka; her great-grandchildren, Louis, Glory, Michael, Evelyn, Gavyn, Evyn, Rosina, Lilliana, Danielle, Grace, Lucia, Grant, Harvey, and 2 more on the way; her great-great-grandchild Phaelyn; and her nieces and nephews, Johanna Murphy, Justin Murphy, Sherri Lee (Gary "Bo") Deiethorn, and Victor Murphy; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Ianachione; her parents, Michael Murphy and Catherine A. Mullen Murphy; and her brothers, Gerald Murphy and Ronald Murphy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brusco-Napier Funeral Service, 2201 Bensonia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Fr. David Green on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict the Abbot Church of St. John XXIII Parish, 120 Abington Dr., McMurray, PA 15317. Burial followed at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2900 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317.
