Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for W.W Jarvis in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Annie Eidson on Franklin street. Mr. Jarvis died early Monday morning in the home of his daughter. Interment was made in the Cummings cemetery ear [sic, i.e. near] Maud, with Rev. Houston Biggerstaff, pastor of the Church of Christ officiating.
Mr. Jarvis was 76 years old and had lived for many years in this vicinity where he was well known and has many friends who mourn his passing.
