Pamela Jean Ransome, daughter of Jeffery and Melba (Lenard) Trammel, was born July 17, 1963 at Fresno, California. Pam grew up and attended school in Stockton, California.

While living in Stockton, Pam held several positions ranging from factory worker to working with the handicapped.

In 1985, Pam moved to Fresno where she met and fell in love with her husband and the father of her four children, Dennis Ransome. They united in marriage on February 7, 1992.

In May of 1995, the Ransome family moved to Crocker, Missouri. Pam worked at the Lee Plant until it's closing. She then went to work for the Missouri Home Health Care organization where she got to do what she loved most, helping care for the elderly.

Pam was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crocker. She loved helping people and spending time with her family.

Pam fought a courageous battle with cancer, but went home to be with her Lord the evening of October 7, 2005 at her home in Crocker, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She had attained the age of 42 years, 2 months and 20 days.

Pam is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her husband: Dennis and four children: Tracy Clark and her husband, Jason, and Lela, Krissy and Randy Ransome all of Crocker; her parents: Jeffery and Melba Trammel of Madera, California; three siblings: Jeffery Trammel, Jr. of Crocker, Larry Trammel of the state of Oregon and Shelly Lenard of Tracy, California; one grandson: Logan Clark and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2005 in First Baptist Church of Crocker with Pastor James Moore officiating. Five songs: "Amazing Grace", "Farwell Party", "One Day At A Time", "When You Say Nothing At All" and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" were played. Serving as escorts were Jay Clark, David Elam, Jeremiah Elam, Chris Elam, Nick Rogers and Brandon Rogers. Honorary escorts were Jim Ransome, Dewayne Ransome, Jeff Trammel, Larry Trammel and Bob Motsenbocker.
