Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Briggs, 65, who died Saturday morning at her home, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home 2503 North 12th avenue with Rev. C. G. Partridge of McIlwain Memorial church officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Honorary; Tony Joseph, Albert Joseph, Mark Joseph, Jake Joseph and Millard Joseph; active, Willie Fowler, Cohron Powell, Currie Simmons, Chester Thomas, Wayman Pallia (Vallia?) and George Shelby.

Interment will be in New Hope cemetery with Fisher-Pou directing.
