Evelyn Strickland England, 1916-2009, died on Wed, Mar 18. A life-long resident of Atlanta, Mrs. England graduated from Girl's High School and work for many years at the Georgia Dept of Labor, where she retired as Assistant Commissioner of Labor. She was a loving and much loved wife, aunt, and friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward P. England and survived by her brother, Dr. W. Earl Strickland; and several nieces and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Fri, Mar 20th at 1 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
