BARNETT, Grover G., Jr., went peacefully and gained his wings on January 2, 2021.

Grover was a retired Lieutenant with the Henrico County Division of Fire, spending 35 years doing what he loved. Grover was an avid collector, loved fishing and riding his Harley Davidson all over the country and was a member of the Richmond Hog Chapter. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, which just made him light up when he talked about any of them and he was so proud of the young lady and men that they had become. He was preceded in death by his father, Grover G. Barnett Sr.; his mother, Anise N. Williams ; father-in-law, Walter E. Shaw; and his brother-in-law, Robert Steinbrecher . He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon S. Barnett; two sons, James (Michelle) and Kenneth (Vicki); four grandkids, Jacob, Justin, Taylor and Tyler; two stepgrandsons, Bryan Hallman and Connor Raulerson; his devoted sister, Gwen Steinbrecher; four nieces, three great-nieces, two great-nephews, one sister-in-law; one aunt, Erma Scott; and a lot of cousins.
