The second child of the late Wayne and Chloe (Farris) Walker, she was born January 17, 1927 at the family farm in Elm River Township.
Margie was a devout Seventh-Day Adventist who dedicated her entire life to the service of others, caring for many through births, sicknesses and deaths. In her later years she particularly enjoyed her Amish neighbors and helping them gave purpose to her days.
She was preceded in death by her cherished 8 year old Granddaughter, Amber Dawn Haynes in 1984; husband, James Allen in 1993; brother William Walker in 2006; sister, Lois Willson in 2015; son-in-laws Lenhart Kissinger in 2021 and Frank Haynes in 2022. Survivors include: two daughters, a grandson, two granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter, a beloved niece and nephew she helped raise, as well as, many more loved nieces and nephews.
