Carolyn Adams, 76 of Nilwood, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was born June 26, 1947 in Springfield, the daughter of Jesse Ralph and Naolia (Averill) Adams.
Carolyn loved reading, puzzles, taking care of her animals, but most of all, her family; especially her grandkids.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Dan Edwards of Waggoner, Bil Edwards of Nilwood, Christie (Kenneth) Yon of Carlinville and Jesse (Amanda) Stone of Springfield; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Michael (Kay) Adams of Coeur D'Alene, ID, Patrick (Patty) Adams of Coeur D'Alene, ID and Chester Adams of Nilwood along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lina Theisman.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date at Hope Community Church in Carlinville with Pastor Ed Linhart officiating.
