Mary Ann, 91, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in her home. Family service will begin at 5pm, Thursday, May 12, 2022, officiated by Rev. Msgr. John McCaffrey, at the family home in Bryan. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

MaryAnn was born on April 6, 1931, in Nyack New York to Albert and Dorthy Benson Shea. Mary Ann graduated from Pearl River High School – 5th in class. Mary Ann married her high-school sweetheart, John W. Antoine June 6, 1954, in their hometown in New York. In 1960, they moved to Bryan Texas. Although quickly taking to the A&M traditions, she remained a true New Yorker at heart.

Mary Ann was an avid golfer racking up an impressive three hole in one's! She was quick to remind you of her skill for reading the green. Playing with the same group of ladies every Wednesday for 30 plus years where they were members of Briar Crest Country Club. She was a proud member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church and made her families faith a priority. She enjoyed jazz music, dancing and playing Bridge. Mary Ann retired from Texas A&M after 25 years with the department of international admissions.

Her parents; her husband, John W. Antoine; her sisters, Dorothy and husband Jim Bromm, and Geraldine Shea; all precede her in death.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer and husband Pat Armstrong, and Brendan Antoine; her grandchildren, Amber Southisone, Cody and wife Rachel Leeth, Tanner, Bre'Anna, and Bryson; her great-grandchildren, Tommy and Parker; her nephews and nieces along with her great-nephews and great-nieces; and other close relatives and friends.
