Mavis was a charter member of Trinity Baptist church, Rogers, Ark.

Mavis was the Chef for the Robinson family at their mansion in Rogers, Ark. She prepared lunch for Bob Hope and for John Glen, the astronaut.

Mavis loved pretty things. She loved shopping at Wal Mart, looking at Everything in the store. She loved holidays with her family. She loved to cook. She loved red lipstick. She always kept lipstick in her pocket. She loved wearing red shoes. Mavis wanted to be Shirley Temple and tap dance, when she was a little girl.

Mavis had worked for Wal-Mart for several years before she retired. She was a sweet loving Mother and grandmother. She was always going out of her way to help others. She loved her Lord and Saviour and she liked to talk "scripture" with every one willing.
