Mrs. Carol Ann Adams, 80, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Atrium Health Floyd after a brief illness.
Carol was born in Gordon County, Georgia December 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Edwin and Beatrice Evans Sullivan. She loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren. She loved to plant and tend to her flowers and enjoyed being around her friends. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and prior to declining health, she loved being a member of the church choir.
Surviving are her three children who loved her dearly; six grandchildren, and other relatives survive.
A service to celebrate Carol's life will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sellers and Eddie Brannon officiating. Music will be arranged by Treva Sellers. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Austin Schlieman, Logan Guess, Barry Shirley, Austin Meadows, Vic Bohannon, and Zack Heckman.
The family will receive friends Saturday between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
