With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we mourn the loss of Robert Earl Anderson, devoted father, cherished brother, and respected member of the community. Robert peacefully passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 66.

Born on November 12, 1956, Robert lived a life of honor and bravery. He served his country with great distinction, proudly serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Robert embarked on a career in the oil field industry, where he worked offshore as a skilled driller, contributing to the growth and progress of the Petroleum Industry.

Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Robert was a man of great character and integrity. His dedication extended to his community. Robert was a 32' Master Masonry and a Shriner for many years, exemplifying the values of brotherhood, charity, and goodwill.

He is proceeded in death by his loving parents, Wilford Dale Anderson, and Ida Louise Harmon-Anderson of Vernon Parish; sister, Carolyn Marie Anderson and brothers, Wilfred Dale Anderson Jr and Charles David Anderson.

As we bid farewell to Robert Earl Anderson, visitation will be on October 14, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bayou Chicot, Louisiana starting at 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM. Funeral Services will follow starting at 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM with Pastor Wayne Holston as officiate. A Masonic Burial Ceremony will be conducted shortly after funeral services. Family and friends are encouraged to share stories and remembrances that will forever keep his spirit alive within us. In this time of grief, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and the legacy he leaves behind. Robert will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and his absence will be deeply felt.
