Father of Mary Jane Hickey(James),her twin sister Clara Hickey(Jones) and Martha Hickey (Buck). Worked for the Union Pacific RR, had stepped on a rusty nail while at work and became ill with tetanus. He traveled with his entire family to Pasadena Ca. circa 1910 to be treated at a sanitarium. He never fully recovered from the infections and left his wife Bessie and his daughters early.
