BOWLING GREEN -- Funeral services for former Findlay resident Ferne L. Brandeberry, 86, of Lafayette Boulevard, Bowling Green, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home, Bowling Green, the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, North Baltimore.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brandeberry died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998 at Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home.

She was born June 24, 1912 in Hammansburg, to Andrew W. and Margaret (Masters) Sterling. She married Harley W. Brandeberry, who died Nov. 6, 1962.

Surviving are a daughter, Marge Houchins, Bowling Green; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brandeberry was a former welfare director for Hancock County, retiring in 1973.

She was a member of Howard United Methodist Church in Findlay, its United Methodist Women and Mary Circle. She was past treasurer of Findlay District United Methodist Women.

She also was a member of the Findlay Rebekah Lodge, Ladies Encampment Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch, Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary and Past Noble Grand Club.

Memorials may be made to Howard United Methodist Church, Findlay, or to or Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home.
