Milton was a late in life baby, the youngest child and son of Luther J. and Sylvia (Brown) Adamson. Brother of; Gracie (died at the age of two) and Lulu E. Adamson Butler

Milton's mother died when he was nine years old; his father being twelve years older then his mother, and in his mid 60's at the time of his wife's death, apparently was unable to raise Milton alone, as revealed in U.S. Census records for 1900 and 1910. (Perhaps Milton lived with his sister Lulu for a time?)

Milton married Lucy Olga Kache on April 15, 1932 in Washington, D.C. and their marriage was blessed with son, Wayne Lee Adamson.

Milton was a retired printer for the U.S. Govt.
