Died in a train wreck the day after he arrived in France with the 782nd Tank Battalion. In all, the losses to the Battalion were: 3 officers and 51 enlisted men killed; and 5 officers and 29 enlisted men injured. Initially interred at Champigny-Saint-Andre.


U.S., National Cemetery Interment Control Forms, 1928-1962, lists a re-interment date of April 12th, 1949.
