Louise Burgett died at the age of 82 at the home of a son, John Burgett, 10 miles southwest of Bristow. She was born December 3, 1868, at Humboldt, Nebraska. She married Neal Burgett November 28, 1890 at Medicine Lodge, Kansas. She had been a resident of Bristow for 36 years and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors included four sons, John of Bristow, Albert [Elbert] of California, Hubert of Illinois, and Theodore, Central America; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Shinpoch, Cal., one brother Chris Stalder, Nebraska, two sisters, Maggie Burgett, Colorado, and Rosie Duncan, California; 22 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Sullivan, Bates Funeral home, with Rev. R. T. Green, Church of God pastor officiating. [RS]
