Melba Ruth, of Newton, passed away after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Burkeville, Texas, and a long-time resident of Newton.
Melba was survived by her husband of fifty three years, Clyde E. Adams Sr,;daughters Judy Walker and husband, Jeff; Jana Snowden and husband, Jim; Terri Wills, Tammy Marshall and husband, Brad; daughter, Cathy Marberry and husband, Rick; son, Clyde Adams Jr and wife, Tiffany; grandchildren, Jeffrey Walker Jr. and wife, Charlotte, Carl Walker and wife, Susan, Scott Walker and wife, Jennifer, Laurie, Michael and Natalie Snowden, Ashley and Reid Wills, Zachary Marberry, Cason and Katelyn Marshall and Victoria and Nicholas Adams and one great-grandchild, Caitlyn Proffit. She was also survived by two sisters, Winifred Bailey and Robbie See; two brothers, Ted Miller and wife, Carolyn and Charles Miller and wife, Laurie and brother and sister-in-law, Charles Neal and Faye Adams and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Melba was preceded in death by her parents, Teddy and Evalena Miller, her grandson, Adam Lee Wills, her sister-in-law, Nancy Price and brothers-in-law, Howard See, Walter L. "Bo" Bailey and Charlie Price.
