Actor. Jones began his career in off-Broadway plays in Chicago & New York City, in 1980s. He landed his first role in a major motion picture, in 1998, as a Prison Guard, in "He Got Game", starring Denzel Washington & Ray Allen, followed by "Sweet and Low Down", and "Paid In Full". In 2018, Jones was casted in the hit Television series, "This Is Us" as William Hill, the biological father of Randall Pearson (played by Sterling K. Brown). This won him 2 Primetime Emmys in 2018 & 2020, for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Recently, he was cast as Congressman Leon Kilbride in "Law & Order: Organized Crime".
