Polly passed away at 9 a.m. March 26, 2008, at the age of 69.
She was born Nov. 6, 1938, the youngest of seven siblings.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Allen, of the home. Polly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Proud of her Indian heritage she was a member of the Shawnee Tribe.
Polly is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Dale Boyd, of Fairland, Okla.; two granddaughters and their husbands, Kimberly and Nathan Anderson, of Fairland, and Kayla and T.J. Thulin, of Miami, Okla.; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Averi Anderson, of Fairland.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Louis McFarland; her parents; one sister; and four brothers.
Also surviving is one brother, Berry (Boze) Lewis, of Narcissa, Okla.; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Services were held Saturday, March 29, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami. Pastor Andy Krebs officiated the service. Visitation was held Friday evening, March 28, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami. Pallbearers were Donnie and Mark Roblyer, Ricky and Robert Barger, nephews of Pollys, Joe Jones and Leon Sly. Interment followed the services in G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami.
