Cecil Edward was the son of Charley B Young and his mother's name is unknown. When he was about 5, in Craighead Co AR, he was found, sick with the flu, with a brother and sister. Their father was dead and in some kind of show wagon. Cecil was taken to a Catholic hospital and when he was better, he was raised in St Joseph's Orphanage. His brother, Parker Young, died at a young age, and his sister married and lived in Jackson Co AR. During WWII, Cecil worked in a CCC camp. Cecil's wife, Hazel Gentry, died a few days after he did.
