April 14, 1938 - July 24, 2023
Lorilee Abramo, beloved mother and wife, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023 at the age of 85 with her family at her side. She was born in Wisconsin and had fond memories of her childhood, parents, siblings, and entire extended family. After graduating Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI with a B.S. in Education she moved to California to be an elementary school teacher. She spent the first part of her career teaching and helping underprivileged youth in San Francisco before moving to San Mateo to start her own family. Lorilee enjoyed the little things in life and was beyond appreciative of all her blessings. She loved being around people, traveling, and going on new adventures as well as revisiting her favorite places. She was silly, kind, generous, genuine, and was especially loved by her grandchildren. She will be missed but not forgotten by her family, friends, and community. Lorilee is survived by her husband, Frank; sons: John and Thomas and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents: George and Leone Schneider; sister, Joan Foley; and brothers-in-law: James Foley and Jack Koepp. May she join them in the kingdom of heaven and rest in eternal peace, may she join them in the kingdom of heaven and rest in eternal peace.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:45am at St. Gregory Church, 2715 Hacienda St, San Mateo; a visitation will be open an hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, Lorilee would ask you to say a prayer and donate to your favorite charity.
