Shawn M. Abear, age 46, of Princeton, WI, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Shawn was born on July 10, 1977, in Burlington WI.

He graduated from Winter High School in 1995. After high school, he attended the Tiger Welding Institute in Tulsa, OK. After receiving his certificate, he moved to Montana for a year to work. Shawn wanted to be closer to his family and friends so moved back to Wisconsin. Since moving back, he worked various jobs doing construction, car transporting/auctions, and lawn care. Shawn was all about family and friends. He knew how to have fun and looked forward to gatherings, always the chatterbox. He loved Mom's home-cooked meals and made sure there was always enough for him to take home. Shawn will be missed by so many.

Shawn is survived by his son, mother, brother, 3 sisters, very special nieces and nephews, best friend, and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Shawn is preceded in death by his father, Dewey Marten on Feb. 17, 2023; Grandma and Grandpa Holbek; Grandma and Grandpa Marten; several great aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 3214 Highway 70, in Loretta, WI. Pastor Gwen Downing will be conducting the service. There will be a private burial at the Draper Cemetery following the service.
