On July 16, 2023, our beloved mother, grandma, and friend passed away peacefully at her home in Fairview, Utah with family by her side.
Roxanne "Rocks" was born in New Um, Minnesota on July 30,1951 to Nettie Lee Schlep and Roy Henry Rauch.
She grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota with her two beloved younger brothers Jerry and Jimmy Rehfeld.
Roxanne was a devoted mother to her four children and a loving grandma to her 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was always affectionate with kind words, hugs and kisses. Bringing treats to her grandkids during her many visits and never forgetting the granddogs too.
She could keep you entertained for hours with her lively, talkative personality.
Those who knew her, loved her for her many kind ways, gregarious charm, and at times her vim and vinegar that kept things interesting. Her outgoing personality lent itself to a career in hospitality where she enjoyed meeting people from many different walks of life. Additionally through her hard work, she always kept an immaculate home.
On Oct. 2, 1989, she married her forever love, Gene Henry Dudley. They enjoyed life in Provo, UT with family and friends. In 2003, together they accomplished their dream, retiring in their beautiful home at Skyline Mountain Resort in Fairview, UT.
For last 20 years many beautiful memories were made as she graciously hosted gatherings at her home for family and friends.
Some of her favorite things to do were playing games and spending time with family, cleaning and DIY work in her home, shopping for hidden treasures, watching her favorite T.V. shows and avidly reading her favorite mystery and horror novels.
The family is comforted in knowing that she is reunited with her sweetheart, Gene.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is Survived by her children,
Kody Shepherd, Curtis Shepherd (Nanette), Crystal Stoker and Mandey Moorehouse (Randy); and her grandchildren Taige, Quincey, Shaylie, Brinley, Aubrianna, Kyler, Emma, Mila, Elijah, Cole, Alexis and Dreyson.
A life so beautiful deserves a special celebration to held on Saturday, August 5th
