Kristi lost her life on march 29, 2008. she was 16 years old. she was driving and lost control of her car on friday night and struck a tree. she is survived by her father Glynn Thomas Yates of Brittany,Louisiana.her mother Karen Sue Yates of Mer Rouge,Louisiana. her grandmother Marie Yates of Oak Grove,Louisiana. her maternal grandparents Elbert and Carolyn Rose Foster of Mer Rouge,Louisiana, brothers Shane Thomas Yates of Farmerville,LA. Kristi was a student in the 11th grade at Forest High School. she lived with her grandmother Marie Yates. she was preceded in death by her grandfather Freddie Homer Yates.
