A composition of everything written about him and his life, that is known, is in the Westfall Branch Library on Vance Jackson St., and at the DRT Alamo Library in San Antonio done by Wanda Swearingen Westfall and Debra Harper Westfall.
Edward's journals are in the main library in the Texana Section in San Antonio.
His grave is marked by the DRT Medallion as a Citizen of Texas and also by the Texas Ranger Cross.
Our many thanks to Ernest Young of Floresville, Texas whose help with the grave marking was invaluable.
Edward's brother Abel Westfall is buried in the Elmendorf cemetery. We believe Edward's wife Josephine had Abel buried next to E.D. as there is a space between E.D. and her parents.
