Clifton Adams Barlow, 24, was fatally injured during the holidays in Arlington, Virginia.

Clifton died on his 24th birthday, 11 hours after a motorcycle accident. He was en route to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Barlow of Chevy Chase, Maryland, after visiting Arlington. His motorcycle hit a patch of ice and skidded out of control.

Clifton, who had visited here and in Paducah many times, was a naval officer candidate, stationed at Pensacola (FL) Naval Air Station. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifton B. J. Barlow of Barlow, Kentucky.

Son of Thomas Jefferson and Lee (Maddox) Barlow.
