SEMINARY - Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Longview Baptist Church in Covington County for Inez Thrash Bass, 78, of Seminary, who died June 20, 2005, at her home. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bass was a retired poultry farmer and member of Longview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Genie Bass, and a grandson, Paul David Parker. Survivors include two sons, Harold Bass and Raymond Bass, both of Seminary; two daughters Corine Knight of Seminary and Charlotte Parker of Texas; a brother, J.C. Thrash of Seminary; two sisters, Tressie Dearman of Hattiesburg and Lorine Leggett of Seminary; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the family home, 1777 Highway 588, and continue until service time. Wade-Nowell Funeral Home in Collins is in charge of arrangements.
