Daughter of the late Bertie Paul and Carrie Bullock Paul. She married Louis Guy Hodges on September 11, 1939. He preced her in death on May 7, 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Wayne Hodges. She was survived by three daughters, Joan Hodges Evans, Jayne Hodges Jones and Velvet Hodges Blizzad; a son, Bert G. Hodges; a sister, Sybil Harris; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral was held March 31, 2008, with The Rev. George Jones officiating.
