Wilbur A. Hand, age 83, of Callahan, Florida passed away on June 1, 2023. He was born to the late Ernest Hand and Viola Stone Hand in Hazlehurst, Georgia on August 19, 1939. Wilbur was a Godly man who loved his Lord and Savior. He also loved to go to church and worship. Wilbur was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will be missed dearly. Wilbur is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Hand; son, Wayne Hand; sisters, Grace Dixon, Vera Roberts.
Wilbur leaves behind his sons, Wendell (Christine) Hand, David Hand; grandchildren, Brandon Hand, Kristin Mallard, Miranda, Shelby; great-grandchild, Grayson Mallard.
A Graveside Service for Wilbur will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Allen officiating. The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011. 904-879-1770.
