Mr. Clifford Hancock Died Near Molena Thursday
Mr. Clifford Hancock, age 44, died at his home near Molena last Thursday after being in failing health for the past two years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Brindle of Griffin at the Williamson Methodist church Friday and burial was in the church yard. Mr. Hancock was a member of the Christian church. Mr Hancock is survived by his widow and six daughters, Misses Mattie, Belle, Florence and Marjorie Hancock, Mrs. Ruby K. Beckham, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Winn and one son, Mr. Charles T. Hancock; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Riggins, Mrs. Rosa Pate, Mrs. Lila Folsom and Mrs. Effie Whitehead; six brothers, Messrs. J.W., R.T., W.C., Joel, Artis and Andrew Hancock. The brothers were the pallbearers. Stephens Undertaking Co., of Thomaston were in charge of funeral arrangements.
