Anne Hasenauer Getz was a gift from God to Al and Patricia Hasenauer. Anne was received in heaven March 4, 2015 while being surrounded by her family and cherished friends.

Though her life here was far too short, she lived with vibrancy, grace, courage and purpose. Anne faced challenges that most of us could never imagine or endure. She was a warrior of the bravest kind.

Anne's greatest accomplishment was raising her sons Erik and Alex. She devoted her life to providing an excellent education and nurturing home life for them.

Anne attended Rosary Cathedral, St. Pius, Notre Dame Academy and University of Toledo. Her paralegal career began with her life long friend Mike O'Donnell at the start of his law career. She then was a paralegal for a Perrysburg firm later moving to Eastman Smith, and in this past year completing her successful career at Lydy and Moan. In 2006, Anne collaborated with her mentor Jeff Lydy, to establish The LakeSide Fund.

Left to cherish Anne's memory are her loving and devoted sons, Erik and Alex, brothers, John (Shirley), James (Kate) and sister, Mary Pat Brown (Mike). Also surviving are cherished nieces and nephews. In addition, Anne also leaves special extended family and countless friends!

Anne's family would like to extend their gratitude to her doctors at the University of Michigan: Dr. Lawrence Marentette, Dr. Stephen Sullivan and P.A. Janet Urban. Also, to the caring staff of Hospice of NW Ohio.

Donations are requested to scholarship fund at St. Francis de Sales High School and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Friends and family will be received at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Saturday, March 7 from 3-8 PM where services will be held on Sunday, March 8 at 11 AM. The Rev. Michael Newman OSFS will preside.
