Jack Russell (Rusty) Blue, age 61 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away from this life on June 13th, 2023. Rusty was born on January 1st, 1962 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Wanda (Keck) and Jacky Hoyt Blue. Rusty worked in the oilfield industry most of his life and was a very hard worker. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, noodling, boating, just basically anything outdoors. He was also a prankster, he loved to pull jokes, sometimes very hard pranks on everyone. He also was part Jew, he would jew anyone down on a price of anything. Rusty was also known to be at the casino, he enjoyed gambling. Rusty was very attached to his dogs, "Jackson, Sassy and Gus" were his pride and joy. Rusty will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rusty is survived by his life partner, Susie Carter of Talihina; children, Sable Sawyer and husband Brian of Talihiha, Rusty Blue and wife Cristin of Talihina, and Sawyer Blue of Talihina; grandchildren, Samuel Blue, Ethan Blue, Savannah Blue, Olivia Sawyer, and Hannah Sawyer; sisters, Quanda Shelton and Twila Coates; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
Rusty is preceded in passing by his parents, Jacky and Wanda Blue; grandmother, Orgal Blue; grandparents, and sister, Sarah Blue.
Pallbearers will be Sawyer Blue, Rusty Blue, Anthony King, Charlie Morgan, Allen Williams, Tyler Kirkes, Samuel Blue, and Jonathan Ramsey
