Daughter of George Samuel Ives and Louisa Susanna nee Kirby.
She married Percy Sidney Ellacott on 25 December 1936 in her hometown of Croydon. She was 18 years old.
They had two children during their marriage, twins. Albert Sidney Ellacott (1938-1938) and Hilda Louisa Ellacot (1938–2006)
Percy was less than an ideal husband and was sentenced to a month's hard labour in Penge for running away and leaving his wife.
Percy was again in trouble for deserting his wife and child on the 14th of February 1939.
In 1947 she lived at 55 Bedford Road, Lambeth.
She died as a young mother on 24 April 1951 at the age of 33, and was buried in Streatham, Surrey.
Inquest held on the 27th of April 1951 at Kings College Hospital: Aspirin poisoning - self administered. Took her own life whilst the balances of her mind was disturbed.
