STRAWBERRY — Wanda Howard, 82, of Strawberry died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Batesville.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Strawberry since 1970, having moved from California.

Survivors include two sons, Gaylord Howard of Strawberry and Billy Howard of Little Rock; a daughter, Rhene Smith of Springfield, Mo.; three brothers, Jimmy Miller of Richland, Mo., and Buddy Miller and Paul Miller, both of Stoutland, Mo.; three sisters, Marie Young of Lamar, Mo., Doris Smith of Stoutland and Faye Ross of LaHabra, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dawson Howard; a son; a daughter; five brothers; and a sister.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dry Creek Cemetery in Lynn with Bill Howard Jr. officiating. Arrangements are by House-Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the family home located at 508 Milligan Campground Road in Strawberry.
