She was born August 30, 1957 in Morris, IL, the daughter of the late Walter Dee and Lois Catherine Gordan Edgin. She grew up in Pinson and was a 1975 graduate of Southside High School. She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from U.T. Martin.
She married Calvin Ray Denbow on November 23, 1978 and they made their home in the Hickory Corner Community in Chester County. Mr. Denbow preceded her in death on February 28, 2010.
She ran Wee Care Day Care in Henderson for about fifteen years. She later worked at U.T. Martin as Senior Library Specialist for about twelve years.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She had been a member of the Cross of Christ Church in Bethel Springs.
Mrs. Denbow is survived by two sons, Derrick Duane Denbow and Justin Kyle Denbow (Brittney) all of Henderson; four grandchildren, Jayden Denbow, Lane Denbow, Newman Denbow and Garrett Denbow; two brothers, Bubba Edgin (Terri) and Michael Edgin all of Henderson; and two sisters, Brenda Crowe of Henderson and Kay Thompson of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Calvin Ray Denbow and three sisters, Phyllis Skinner, Linda O'Brien and June Crossno.
