Robert I. "Bob" Brown Sr., of Greeneville, born on June 14, 1927, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2023.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a WWII veteran, honorably discharged from the Navy in July 1946. He retired from Magnavox/Phillips in the mid 80's. Bob loved farming and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years; Catherine Renner Brown: one son; Robert I. (Mitzi) Brown Jr.: grandchildren; Jason (Kristie) Brown and Leslie (Matt) Sheridan: great grandchildren; Eliza Brown, Gracie Sheridan, Cameron Sheridan and Jack Sheridan: as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Minnis and Allie Brown: a son; Randy Brown: and a brother; Doyle Brown.

There will be no formal visitation. At his request he will be cremated.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00pm at River Hill Cemetery with Rev. Sarah Moody officiating. The Greeneville Greene County Honor Guard and the United States Navy will conduct military honors.

Gravesite Details

He is buried in the river hill Cemetery. I've tried adding him to the cemetery roster but it will not let me. It won't even show up. So if anyone can help me. It would be very appreciated. Thanks and I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
