Dwight "Andy" Anderson served 30 years on active duty as an infantryman in the US Marines 1968-69 (Vietnam) and 1974-2002 US Army. Awards include the Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, and six Meritorious Service Medals. Retired at the rank of Command Sergeants Major a rank he held for 11 years. He retired on 4 Jan 2020 on his fourth assignment at a cemetery. Served at the Henri Chappelle AC Belgium, Normandy AC Omaha Beach, Epinal AC, and the Rhone American Cemetery for a total of 13 years of service with the American Battle Monuments Commission. He calls Point Roberts, WA home. Has spent over 57 years traveling the world and living abroad having lived in or visited 103 countries/territories
