A Celebration of life remembering James Arlen Soileau will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Pastor Greg White officiating.

James Soileau, 78, of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at his home.

On July 18, 1944, James was born to the union of the late Milton Soileau, and Jeanne Fontenot Soileau.

He was preceded in death by his wife, of 58 years, Norma Gene Stegall Soileau; his son, Christopher John Soileau and his wife, Karen Watson Soileau; granddaughter, Hope Soileau and brother, Cecil John Soileau.

James was strong in his faith and a very active member of Christian Worship Center, where he was an Elder and Deacon and a graduate of the Christian Worship Bible School. He was a Petroleum Engineer retiring after 26 years of service. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
