Raulston Wayne Tittsworth III "Titty", age 72, of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Wayne served in the Army of the United States of America USASA field Station Berlin USM-5, Army Security Agency for many years. Following his time in the armed forces, he worked as a secretary at the Clover Bottom Developmental Center in Nashville. He also served as Vice President of the Filipino American Association in Nashville.
Wayne had a warm personality and was very friendly. He enjoyed making conversation with everyone. Among his "favorites" are Pall Mall cigarettes and coffee with sugar and cream. But nothing compared to the thrill of the perfect "find". He collected, bought, sold, and traded vinyl LP albums; particularly of The Beatles. He enjoyed playing the drums a little but his main music love was the music on the vinyl LPs. His search for the perfect find made him a regular at thrift shops, auctions, and garage sales. He loved well – was well-loved – and will be sorely missed.
Wayne was predeceased by his father, Frank Tittsworth; his mother, Loretta Tittsworth née Carrick; and his brother, Myron Paul Tittsworth. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Theresa Tittsworth and ex-wife Marina; his daughter, Lydia Rachel Tittsworth; his sisters, Beverly Tittsworth Fults and Kimberly Renee Tittsworth; as well as numerous loving family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends for Raulston was held Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138. A gathering of family & friends was Monday, May 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at High Funeral Home, 101 College Street, McMinnville, TN 37110.
