Raymond Owen Gilliam, 81, husband of Hazel Bannister Gilliam of 1312 Anderson Street, Belton died Friday, January 26, 2007 at Hospice of the Upstate.

Born in Hartwell, Georgia he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Fannie Risner Gilliam. He was retired from Owings-Corning Fiberglass with 22 years of service. He was owner and operator of OxYoke Antiques for 45 years, was a life member of Hiram Masonic Lodge 68, and was a member of Belton Church of God.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: Stepchildren, Hilton King and wife Betty of Belton, Tammie Roe and husband Barry of Anderson; 3 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild.

He was predeceased by: Parents; Brothers, Marvin Gilliam, Newland Gilliam; Sisters, Lois Crisp, Audrey Cleveland.

Services will be held 3:00pm Sunday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Cox Funeral Home.

Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.

The family will be at the residence.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
