Antwain Sherrod Scott, Sr. was an exceptionally gifted child and grew into a brilliant and talented young man. Born in Compton, CA, Antwain attended elementary, middle, and senior high schools in Compton. After graduation, he enrolled in California State University at Dominguez Hills and later, earned a Masters in Business Administration at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
Antwain worked as an insurance representative for New York Life Insurance Company and always emphasized the importance of purchasing life insurance for our families. He loved his family. He was a respectable young man, and always supported his family at graduations, birthdays, and other family events.
Antwain passed away suddenly at age 41. Cause of death: heart attack.
He was the proud father of his namesake, Antwain Sherrod Scott, Jr. Also mourning his sudden loss are his parents, Sophia Gatus and Charles Scott and his 4 sisters: Chardae, Kenoria, Yolanda, Charlene and Miriam, nieces Deja, Khaliyah and Khole, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ethel Louise Gatus, and his first cousin/friend, Minister Arturo Da'Naire Frazier.
