He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Batten; sons, E. Kenneth Batten Jr. and his wife, Patsy, and Dennis K. Batten Sr. and his wife, Wanda; daugthers, M. Darlene Frotten and her husband, Michael B. and D. Sharlene Ashley and her husband, George H.; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters.
