Marvin was born June 8, 1930 in Powell he passed away on April 7 in Pampa Texas, he was raised in Kingston and Madill Oklahoma. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and worked as a toolpusher in the oilfield. He married Margie Juanita Matney Feb 4, 1950 and they had five children. He moved to Pampa, Texas in 1953. Later divorced and remarried Jerry Collins on September 24, 1963.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons Marvin Charles, Pampa, TX. Tony, Abiline,TX. eight daughters, Sheri and Mary Ann Turner, of the home, Carol Brown, Opal Jean, Sue Reynolds, Angelia Bicksel and Melinda Slagle,Pampa TX, Dora Bates, Wilson; his mother, Mrs. Emma Turner, Ardmore, OK. two brothers Freddy Wayne, Lone Grove OK, Melvin, Ardmore, OK. three sisters, Lorilla Coop. Dorothy Schane and Margaret Harris, Ardmore, OK and 11 grandchildren.
