Carl Erik Abrahamson died Friday at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He resided in Baton Rouge and was a native of Stockholm, Sweden. He was a civil engineer, was employed for over 40 years by the Louisiana Department of Highways, and was a veteran of World War I.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Shepherd Abrahamson of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Burenius Mattson of Stockholm, Sweden, and Mrs. Anna Greta Svennefelt of Solleron, Sweden; a brother, N.C. Abrahamson of Baton Rouge.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church, of the Nicholson Post of the American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars; St. James Lodge No. 37 F.&A.M.; Plains Commandery, Knights Templar; Jerusalem Temple of the Shrine, and the Baton Rouge Chapter No. 163, Order of the Eastern Star.
