Cora Henrietta Iverson, age 89, died Thursday, November 28, 1996 at the Buffalo Medical Center,Mondovi. She was born in Larkin Valley, rural Blair on March 22, 1907 to Lewis and Selma (Flaaten) Roseth. Shemarried Helmer Iverson November 19, 1932 in Preston Township. They moved to Milwaukee where they lived for twenty years before returning to Trempealeau County. they also lived in the
Osseo area for almost twenty years.
Cora worked as a nurse, her and Helmer also ran the Coral City store for four years. After Helmer died Cora moved
back to Blair, later on moving to Buffalo Medical Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Wayne) LaMont of Springfield, VA and Sonja Roseth, Trinidad, CA; one son, John (Carol) Iverson of Burnsville, MN; a sister, Agnes Anderson of Blair and a brother, Hansel Roseth of Osseo; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Esther Roseth, Blair.
She was preceded in death by her husband Helmer, a daughter Marion and two sisters, Sylvia Sather and
Helen Moen and three brothers, Lloyd, Arthur and Ralph.
Cora loved her garden and always had some geraniums on the porch and African violets in the kitchen.
She maintained a lively interest in life and kept her sense of humor. She was a person who was close to her familyand friends and greatly enjoyed her later years.
Funeral services were held December 4, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church, Blair with burial at the Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Pleasantville, Wi. Rev. John Twiton and Rev. Kevin Jones officiated.
Pallbearers were David and LaVerne Roseth, Sherman Severson, Ralph and Norm Herman and Wayne LaMont.

Jack Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of arrangements.
