Norma Ruth Hamilton, of Russellville, passed away April 18, 2023.

Norma was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was the secretary at Tharptown Baptist Church for 10 plus years. She loved her family, second only to God. Norma was a born caregiver, always taking care of her entire family, up to the time of her illness. Her weakness was cooking, but she made up for it in loving and caring for complete strangers, which was only for a short time, before long, they became part of the family. She enjoyed many days on a creek bank fishing with her precious grandson, Braden, always making sure to have her Diet Mt. Dew by her side. When not fishing, her precious Aubree and Cameron would be somewhere close by, coloring, drawing and painting because she had great patience while coloring with them, not to leave out being the family historian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Thelma Lanier; sister, Wilma Jean Hayes; and father-in-law, William "Billy" Hamilton.

Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2023, from 11 am-12 pm at Tharptown Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12 pm, with interment in Tharptown Baptist Church Cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
