It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard Paul Mattar announce his passing on Friday, May 11, 2007. At almost 82 years of age, Leonard looked back on a life filled with adventure, success, happiness and love - a life that his family now celebrates in his honor. Leonard is survived by his wife, Harriet; his sons, John, George and David, his second set of children, Steven, Brian and Jayne, all of their spouses, 11 grandchildren, and his loving caregiver, Ann Marie. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Augustine's Church, Main Street, New City at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 16th, followed by a gathering for close friends and family at Harriet Mattar's home in New City. Do not send flowers - instead, please make a donation to your choice of charity in Leonard's name.
