Ishmeal Lee Boles, age 65 of Nashville, Tennessee, went to Heaven
on Friday, April 7, 2023, "Good Friday". He was the youngest baby
boy of six children born October 9, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ishmeal attended East High School in Nashville, Tennessee. He was
employed at Calsonic in Shelbyville, Tennessee, where he met and
married the love of his life Gloria Batts in 2003. They were married
for twenty blessed years.

He was later employed by General Mills until his health failed him.
Ishmeal had strong faith in the Lord and studied the word of God.
His favorite musical instruments were bass guitar, guitar, drums and
keyboard. He enjoyed singing duets with his wife, Gloria. He also
sang and played for several choirs and groups namely Coleman March
Ensemble and Woodfork Church Choir. For many years he led and
wrote many songs for his gospel group The Sons of Judah, in which
he started in 2003. The members in the group included James Darden,
Joseph Maxwell, and his son, Tez Boles.

Ishmeal was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Nimrod and Zular
Mae Boles; and brothers, Jesse and Galius Boles.

Those left to cherish his memory: are his wife, Gloria Boles; children,
Tony Osborne, Tez (Shalynda) Boles, Lori Harris, Susan Waggoner
and Jolene Batts; grandchildren, Breanna (Johnny) Malone, Isaac
and Isaiah Boles, Morgan and Erin Fitzgerald, and Jayden Waggoner;
great grandchildren, J'anna and Jaise Malone; devoted brother, Enoch
(Shirley) Boles; devoted sisters, Evangelist Clementine Horne and
Ruth (David) Dowdy; sisters-in-law, Willie Ann and Eunice Boles and
Tammy Sanders; brothers-in-law, Aaron Marsh and James (Patricia)
Marsh; many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
