Edward Clifford Powell, age 39, died, Tuesday afternoon at the Pensacola Hospital. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Glardy (Gladys) Powell, three children, Virginia,, Shirley and Ed Jr. and his mother, Mrs. Ida Powell. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the home of his mother 433 East Main street. Rev. V. L. Clark, pastor of Assembly of God, assisted by Rev. W. L. Pate; pastor of the Church of God, will conduct services. Pallbearers: Charlie Croberger, Jesse Burnham, Tom Edmundson, Jack Wilkins, B. W. Hollingsworth and J. B. Ward. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery with Fisher-Pou directing.
